Welcome
Welcome to kirtan in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island! Kirtan is a wonderful form of sacred call-and-response chanting that has been part of Indian culture for thousands of years, and it has now become popular around the world. Because the chants are presented in a call-and-response manner, you don’t need any experience to participate!
As well as Indian Bhajans, we also sing songs from other sacred traditions (Sufi music, African American Spirituals, etc.).
It is a profoundly joyful, calming experience that soothes the mind and calms the soul!
